  1. Hello JETEXAS,

I would take a close look at the LR Baggs Anthem. I use this in a couple guitars paired with the Stage Venue DI. It is one of the best systems I have played thru and I have used virtually everything at one point or another.

The element alone is just fine but the addition of a mic is awesome!

    Congrats on your hummingbird!

    Jeremy

  2. DC, You are welcome to question it. But the fact is that they are solid maple. the darkness seen around the edges is likely from when they are cut. J
  3. We will get this figured out for you. I have some calls in. Do you have a tech that you work with near you? I will be in touch by PM. Thanks JM
  4. Wow! I am a big proponent of dual source PU's! Any undersaddle would be just fine, perhaps something with a volume wheel like the baggs element but that would need a second input jack. If you can find an under saddle that can run into the same jack that would mean less drilling. Let us know how it goes when you put the second PU in. All the best. JM
  5. Don't squeeze adhessive under the PG! If you are the original owner contact Customer Service in Nashville and talk to them about your options 1 800 444 2766 option 4. They maybe able to direct you to someone in your area that can help. All the best Jeremy
  6. Just ordered a Custom Shop Southern Jumbo thru Paul at Music Villa. Advanced "X" Bracing,Red Spruce Top, Luthier's Choice neck, MOP Gibson logo on the headstock with No Crown, small 30's burst - forgot to ask/confirm with him, all the scalloping is pretty standard, right? Hate to think I just ordered a guitar with no scalloped braces.

  8. Do you unplug the guitar when not playing thru the system? Always unplug durring breaks, both bathroom and set:)
  9. I have a friend who uis getting rid of newer Prototype for a very good value, i think it comes with a nice carbon fiber case. if anyone is interested let me know and i will get you in touch with him. JM
  10. Well EA it is clear that that guitar is not for you and perhaps you should just look forward at finding one that suits and the sound that you are looking for. I am sure it is exactly what someone else is looking for and it will find a good and loving home. All of the regulars here on the forum know that each guitar is individual and no two are exactly the same sound, burst, different wood etc. New Strings may do the trick, who knows? Perhaps the ball end is not snugged up to the bridge pins, there are alot of variables. JM
  11. It may take a while for the bird to wake up. New strings may make a difference, Even though they look new they may be dead. JM
  12. Jeremy I left a private message for you :) . thank you for any input
