I’ve had multiple issues with the electronics on my dr-50mce. Firstly, and perhaps what you’re experiencing, is the way the nanomag pickup AND WIRE is mounted. I figured out that the black wire coming out of the mag pickup was vibrating inside and making a distortion-like sound. When plugged in, try touching that wire with your fingernail or something. It’s quite audible. I ended up stapling that wire to a bracing board up underneath and it took care of the problem. Annoying to have to do that tho. The persistent problem that I haven’t been able to solve is the fact that my mag pickup is so much quieter than the flex pickup. It’s a bummer, and evidently a common problem.
