  1. Hi Folks just bought a used (slightly misused) Epiphone Les Paul Pirates of the Caribbean. I was a little nervous about the the purchase as it had some signs of wear, but nothing I can’t fix in the workshop. It needs a couple of dings filling and re-finishing as well as a set of Ernie Ball 10s. Before starting work on it I plugged it in to my practice amp (35 watt Orange) and was blown away by the tone of this thing, it reminded me of Paul Kossoff’s 1959 Les Paul on Alright Now, stunning. I bought this to sell on but I’m looking forward to giving the PRS a rest and gigging with this little beauty. Checked out the serial number and it was made in Quingdao China in December 2006. I paid £120 for it yesterday 😎 Dont you just love it when you do a great deal. Steve Zephyr
