  2. Hi everyone. I'm not a Gibson owner, I pay Epis, Squiers, and Partscasters. But this forum was recommended for a question on the authenticity of a set of humbuckers. I recently bought an Epiphone ES-135 (2006, MIK). The guitar was in a serious state of neglect and had not been played in a long, long time and the seller didn't have much background info. A previous owner made some upgrades, included a BIgsby B3 and Grover locking rotomatic tuners. He/she also swapped pickups. The pickups have no markings, other than a very faded "Patent Applied For" sticker on one and the sticker remnants on te other. The lettering mostly appears to be authentic, except for the "R." The braided wire is two-stranded, not three like some fakes are. Can anyone verify that these are authentic? Photos are below, thanks in advance.
