  1. Thanks for the advice and warning, I will take heed, I love wolves but not around the sheep. Look carefully around the tone pots and see the fading light blue staining. I’ll source some Gibson guitar polish and micro mesh filters and try to gently rub it out. thanks again Leonard.

  3. Here are the pics. It was a lot worse but so far I have been able to wear some of the staining away through polishing but now it is dulling on the polish marks. As for the scratch plate I’m at a loss
  4. I spilt some electrical contact cleaner (solvent), on the table of a 1984 walnut Gibson 345. It has left stains on the scratch plate and face. What’s the best way to remove the stains.
  5. How do you remove solvent stains from a Gibson 345. A little electrical contAct cleaner spilled onto the table of the guitar and has left a stain also on the scratch plate.
