Yeah they only asking $1500 told them for that price there is no way but they said they will stand behind it being a 1953. Think I will stay clear

Went to the pawn shop today and they have a les paul standard goldtop for sale. They insist it is a real 1953 model. I do not believe it. S/n is 061377 can anyone tell me what year it really is?
