Here is what came after the 35. Sometimes I just look at it, but I don't smell it.

Seems the first thing you need to do is make Contact with an actual USA Gibson Factory Customer Service Rep.. The only 2 ways I know to do this is by Phone or Email... Definitely NOT thru the Retailer who sold it to you....
It seems if Gibson can give free Guitars to Tornado victims, which is awesome, a paying Customer should definitely be entitled to one if the one they bought can't be repaired..
I was thinking the same thing. Here is one thing off topic. How does one prove their guitar got damaged and what proof do you need to show. What if your guitar was lifted up and thrown half a mile away and you do not know the whereabouts. Do you need proof or can any one just say I lost my guitar in the tornado. I'll take that LP thank you very much.

Small world for sure. Those cabinets are getting hard to find in descent condition
All mine are in really good shape for something that is 100 years old and something that is approaching 100 years.

Sweet. Always wanted an old Edison, ever since we went on a class trip to the Edison museum in e. orange. I was born there too. St. Marys in passaic. Lived in Lodi, Hackensack and Rochelle Park. Got out after a stint in the army
I was born in Passaic General. All my players are wooded cabinets and not the super cool looking one's with the big horn.

Nitro'd Fenders smell the same. My EJRW still smells like that, 5 years later. American case, same for my new 2 Tone Tele. It's heavenly. My Jazz is 15 years old and smells like that when you get close to it. Same for M-36, 4 years old. I'm glad I couldn't get in the paint shop at Fedner, I'da just laid down and got high in there.

Doesn't anybody sniff panties any more. Its now guitar cases and truss rod tools. Bunch a weirdos.
M-36. Love a 3 piece back. Miss my 35 then I see my 41 and I get over it.

How come nobody asks how RCT and I are doing? We live in New Jersey, that's a disaster in itself!
At least you have White Castle and Taylor Ham.

Used to have a pretty descent blues catalog of old 78's but let the dollar signs get the best of me. Now I'm down to 2 33's lol and a bunch scratched up 45's from when I was a kid
I have a 1915 Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph, 1925 RCA Victrola and a mid to late 1920's Brunswick wind up phonograph. All work and I have record for all. The Edison I only have one record. It won't play anything but the diamond disc records made for it. All made in the great state of NJ. State of my birth.

So I got King's X and Tommy Emmanuael coming up next month. Jason Isbell in June and Friday I got tix to see The Cult. I think they are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Sonic Temple, but I thought that came out in '89. Electric is a smoking LP. Ian and Billy Duffy are still in the band with who knows now. Hope he rocks that big ol Gretsch.
Can't wait to hear the opening notes of Love Removal Machine.

Voila. I clearly have more real estate and have work to do. I do have stickers on the back and sides of the acoustic cases. The bass so far is only on the front. When I traded and got my D-41, I told the owner I wanted to keep my D-35 case since I stickered up. The 41 would have came with a Geib case and I hate those. He had no issues and knocked a $100 off.

They are on the front and back you just can't see them in the pic. One is the classic Roger Dean Yes logo.

Here is my rig. Obviously the speaker has a mate its just not pictured. Guess which album and win a prize. I know Steve can.

So I'm not the only one. I was getting worried.

I asked my wife if she'd like to smell my truss rod tool and she said "no, thank you".

the GIBSON headstock Logo is a vinyl decal instead of inlay
You had me at fake with vinyl decal. Never ever in my life have I heard of that on a Gibson. You got scammed. Contact Reverb as soon as you can get them on the phone and demand your $ back.
Silk Screened Yes, Vinyl Never.

Thank, I forgot who I was using it's been so long.
Here all the old Well Tempered Turntables.
One is the square motor, t' udder is the later Classic. Cool design as there are no bearings: the platter spindle is in Mobil 1 5/30W with some polypropylene nubs to keep it in check, the arm floats on a paddle partially submerged in silicone goop and is suspended by fishing line. Just a brilliant, stupidly simple, incredibly clever idea.
And here's the downstairs system:
I need moment to clean the screen. Are those those thin membrane speakers?

Every time I try to post a photo here it says it's too big and this is the ONLY site that does this. I have no idea why, it must be user error on my part.
For a turntable, I have two Well Tempered, both with Ortofon 2M Black cartridges with Jolida JD9 phono preamps. Works well.
Put my stuff on imugr and I have no problem uploading from there.

Now I gotta listen to some Cat. Maybe Budda or Bull.

Smell your truss rod tool too. It might smell bad. At least one poster said so in another thread. But if they are made in China - Don't.

Any connoisseur of sniffing knows you need to sniff the stagnant goodness of what is behind the control cavity cover. Them pots be aromatic.
