  1. Named after a little red animal with a bushy tail.
  2. I’m putting a Fosters up my turkeys bum and putting it in the grill. It frees up the oven and tastes better.
  3. I got the sad face again. Does Gibson sell the t-shirts like Tom has with the boob on it?
  4. The day Murph watches CNN is the day Gibson goes to China.
  5. So all I need is a rail road spike, keys, washers, and a box of old rusty stuff and I'm a relic'er? I'm more put a guitar on the ground and throw handfuls of pennies at it kind of guy. Shhh don't tell anyone its an ancient Chinese secret.
  6. If it is real new Custom Shop '57's are 6.8k. So that is half price.
  7. I guess this is the current trend. Sell your gear and the rights to your music and spend it while you can. Joe B will be by to scoop up all the good stuff.
  8. Yeah I saw the back cover when I saw the single the other day. The back is not that spectacular either. To make it real authentic they should have had Yoko sitting on an amp knitting while Paul was laying down his bass parts.
  9. Something does look off about it. Check to see what is under the TRC. If you have to use an Allen Wrench to tighten it, you may not want to hear who made it. It does say Supreme across the Globe but it looks really awful. It might be just because I blew up the pic to look closer.
  10. Hercules makes good ones. Just make sure its Nitro friendly to where the neck is going to rest in the mount. You can use an old white t-shirt or towel in-between the guitar and mount so the guitar doesn't touch the mount. https://www.amazon.com/Hercules-GSP38WB-Mountable-Acoustic-Guitar/dp/B0009K9MUA/ref=sr_1_7?hvadid=178343947561&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9010581&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=15280118155538945589&hvtargid=kwd-2733792694&hydadcr=29652_10190612&keywords=hercules+guitar+wall+hanger&qid=1700583623&sr=8-7
  11. When a guitar falls it has the tension of the strings (well over 150 lbs of tension depending on strings, and on a 12 string its even more) connected to the body pulling one way, and the neck is at a 17 degree angle, and when it falls to the floor something usually has to give. Many times it creates the classic SMILE break we see in the first post. Obviously the weakest part is the wood where it snapped. Is it the design? Its been discussed there many many many and lets give it one more many, times. Its not just LP's or SG's. Almost every Gibson has the 17 degree headstock angle. Not sure about Firebirds or Explorers or some of the weird ones they have done in the past.
  12. I come here to learn stuff too. Scotch is made in Scotland, but it doesn't taste like the whiskey your country makes, or my country makes called bourbon, or the whiskey Ireland makes.
  13. Saw the 12 inch one at Wallyworld the other day. It was $15 for 2 songs. And that is the best they can do for a cover?
  14. Me like many here are old enough to remember when Scotch was flavored like Scotch, and not bubble gum and fruit flavors.
  15. I even saw Robert crack a smile. His wife probably made him come on with that Mohawk so the young kids would think he’s cool. https://www.brooklynvegan.com/watch-robert-fripp-daryl-hall-play-king-crimson-bowies-heroes-more-on-live-from-daryls-house/
  16. There is always a loop hole to get around anything.
  17. Funny they look like they are spelled the same. One got capitalized and must have fooled you somehow.
  18. Ect means other stuff I did not want to type. I am not to bright, but yes you can call a guitar made in America with 100% stuff from overseas, and I guess it can still be Made In America.
  19. So, I'll be the that guy, and what parts of your USA made guitars are not made in the USA. Tuners Pots Fret Wire Caps Ect. I wonder where East Indian Rosewood comes from? Hint - its in the name.
  20. Is that what Location United Kingdom means?
  21. I'm sure most of you are old enough and have enough means to get whatever you want throughout the year. I WANT nothing for Xmas.
  22. I'll take 3. Especially The MacCallan. I stated drinking Scotch when 12 YO Mac was $30 a bottle. Just like when LP's were only $599. I long for the good old days. Scotch though is not very American.
