  1. Bob Marley did. He died of Melanoma. The doctors thought it was just a legion on his toe.
  2. I'm not a play list guy. I listen to albums from track one till its over. Here is my review of every Rap album ever - They Are Trash. Just like Keef said. I don't want to listen to music where people are yelling at me.
  3. Here is a bar in Nowheresville Michigan I went to. So Yes.
  4. I have 3 Decemberist LP's. I'll Be Your Girl, What A Terrible World - What A Beautiful World, and Castaways And Cutouts.
  5. I sampled all the songs off Hackney, and was not impressed. It did sound better that all the stuff they have done since Tattoo You (that album is trash too). Garth and Bruce and Kid Crock can all bite my bag.
  6. Yeah, but I still think there are 0 - Zero, confirmed deaths due to marijuana. Cigarettes have been known to kill for decades.
  7. So I just got back from Michigan, and while there I saw the Big Boy. I had not been in one since the 70's probably in Cali. While driving in WV I saw signs for the Mothman Museum. I would have stopped, but I was suffering from eating White Castles in Ohio.
  8. Let’s see how fast Robert can change his name to Rick spelled with a P in front at Daryl’s house.
  9. The Band - Stage Freight Deluxe Edition Box Set. Has a vinyl LP, 7 inch single, a CD, a CD of a full live concert, and a Blue Ray of the concert and album, and a book.
  10. Legend has it he once slapped Cynthia at a party, across the face for dancing with another man.
  11. I wasn’t old enough to be around when the hype or mania was going on. I heard their music and loved it. What happened in the 60’s I did find out about till my teens. So that had no effect on ME.
  12. How is this a Beatles song at all? John wrote it in '78 during his solo years. Eight years after they broke up? I smell a rat.
  13. Yeah after toking for a while you need a break. I have a high tolerance and edible do not affect me unless I eat about 80mg's.
  14. Most of their fanbase is not dead. Everyone alive that listens to them is their fanbase. The ones that died obviously don't listen to them. Same as we all know you have a J-15 and J-45 with RW back and sides.
  15. I just looked at a thread in the acoustic section. On the Gibson Label is says the guitar was Union Made. Is there a Union at Gibson? I never heard of the Loyal Brotherhood of Guitar Makers.
  16. I played one in really good condition several years back. It was a lot more than $750. Not sure what these go for but hopefully the seller is not trying to unload a POS on you that will need lots of money and work to make it playable. Are Gibson Guitars still Union Made?
  17. Yeah but they are kid friendly edibles.
  18. 1. BS. Lots of people still listen to them. I'm one. My 24 year old son loves The Beatles. And of course that came from me. 2. I'll go along with that. It was written in '78 by John. Last I checked the Lads broke up in 1970. 3. I still buy vinyl and CD's. I loath Spotify and the radio, and don't listen to them unless forced to. 4. The Beatles will surely always be relevant. As of right now today they are 60 years on.
  19. Someone is always willing to pay for something. Where I work we have Tribute bands at the Carolina Opry on a regular basis. This year alone we had fake Elton John, Queen, ABBA (from Sweden thanks Pinch), Eagles, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Elvis, and a few others I can't remember. Next year we already booked Fake Carpenters, Phil Collins, Barry Manilow, Led - Zeppelin, and Johnny Cash again. I can see all of them for free, but I don't.
  20. Who cares about chart position? The Music Industry is 100% different than it was even 20 years ago. Album sales mean absolutely nothing. Acts make money touring.
  21. I’ve heard of Beatlemania but never Jolsonmania. There was no mold for The Fab 4 and Elvis Presley’s fame and mania. That was next level and on its own new level. Have some chime in who remember it. They broke up when I was 4. Were they relevant to a 4 year old?
  22. But . . . but . . . your damn right. Does anyone ever eat their case candy?
  23. They are called The Rolling Stones not the Mick Jagger Experience, or Mick And Keef. Brian was booted and they replaced him. Mick T left, guess what they replaced him. Bill left they used others, same with Charlie aka the Stones glue. Is it The Stones? Yes just the same as Gibson can call whatever they want a J-45, even if it’s RW back ‘n sides. The Stones are now Mick, Keef, Woody, and whoever they bring to be a hired gun.
  24. Its a little better than Free As A Bird or Real Love, but I don't need or want it. How come Skynyrd are not using this technology to bring back Ronnie, Gary, Bob, Leon or Allen?
