Do you know the controls?
Volume potentiometer in serial with a first order crossover (-6dB/ octave). Very simple and stock PCB components are high quality.

PCB board works like a hand wired. this is the same crossover filter. If you don' t have problem with the PCB leave it alone.

I have a '11 Les Paul Junior, I love this guitar, it sounds incredible and it' s light, the neck is perfect for me. Your Les Paul Special is nice with '50' s tailpiece. Very close to a Custom Shop with neck binding, very good choice. Congrats.

I made adapters for a discret mount, Black anchors and chrome adapter studs, they make one piece because I used LOCTITE 648 retaining compound high strenght, the bridge is a Gibson ABR-1.

How many A is this '12 Les Paul Standard?

Nobody wanted to buy this 2015 model because there is a Les Paul signature on the headstock, so I bought it for a ridiculous price.
The SG is made like a '61 Reissue, same body shape and same body/neck joint. Pickups are '57 Classic 4 wires with push-pull potentiometers, nice to obtain single coil tones. The neck inlays are not plastic they are made with real mother of pearl, nice blue and purple reflections, the finish of this guitar is awesome. Neck profile is slim taper.
Stock tuners are Gibson GForce but they are too heavy for an SG, I installed a set of KLUSON Revolution with 1/19 ratio, those tuners are light weight, very smooth knobs.
I made other modifications,
- GraphTusqXL adjustable nut
- 5 ply wide bevel pickguard
- M-69 pickup rings
- Gibson ABR-1 bridge conversion
- Vintage repro knobs with smooth reflector top
This SG is a very good guitar, I like the Translucent Ebony finish.

Here is my new Strat, a Sister Silver Special Edition, I like the matching headstock.
This is a very good Strat.

I like reflector knobs but when they are installed the position is lower than top hat knobs, not easy to adjust the controls.
I glued small plastic washers (5mm diameter) on the top of potentiometer shafts, the result is perfect
I used glue for the paper. Now the control knobs are higher and are easy to use.

Yes, this C neck profile is '50s , the '61 neck profile is slim taper.

With my other SG, '15 SG Standard.
Both have M-69 pickup rings, wide bevel pickguard, vintage repro knobs.

Awesome SG at home, the bridge is a Gibson ABR-1 screwed into the body, wide bevel pickguard, nickel hardware, etc ..... Killer SG !

Remove those poor tuners and install a set of real tuners : Schaller Double Ring !

I don' t have this problem with my Les Paul Junior and my SGs with ABR-1 bridge. That' s strange...

The Junior is a great guitar, I like the simplicity, the P90 sound and this is a light weight guitar. Mine is a 2011 model.
