I just bought one that is 88838 Japan 50th same as yours. the guitar is incredible & shows a TM in the aging by the volume knobs. please let me know if you were ever able to get an answer? I’m going to reach out to Gibson tomorrow & see if they can help. i feel good cause the buyer has been nothing but a joy to work with & his rep is 100%.
