  2. There were two that recently sold by auction on ebay. One was a KK-2 (with the birds), the other was a KK-1 (plain), the KK-2 brought $10,600 the KK-1 over $5500. The KK-2 had a split side but otherwise was clean, the KK-1 was ready to play but had had some restoration work. I have a KK-1 that besides my '30 Nick Lucas is my favorite guitar

  4. I have a '39 KG-14 just like yours, just sent it to David Sheppard to have it X-braced. Your tuners are not original, should be 3 on a strip Klusons.

  7. I know these apply to Kalamazoo KG flatops, I assume they also apply to archtops, thus my best guess is 1940. Code Letter and Year A 1935 B 1936 C 1937 D 1938 E 1939 F 1940 G 1941
