  1. Yes it’s an amp issue, but I have not looked further into it yet.
  2. I sent the serial number on a Les Paul I bought new to Gibson customer service and here is what I got back: Thanks for contacting Gibson Brands. Your serial number was used on a 2005 Les Paul Standard Faded model which had satin honeyburst finish, nickel hardware, ‘50’s round profile mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, mahogany body with carved maple top and Burstbucker Pro humbucking pick-ups. Thanks.
  3. Just has the single input.
  4. Ever been to the Tool Shed in Worcester? I’m thinking of dropping by to check it out.
  5. Okay, I picked up a new Brand M amp and problem solved. The Brand F amp was fine until I plugged in a cable, and that is when the loud hum would start.
  6. I looked up the serial number and it was from 2017. I wonder what its story is.
  7. I just tried that, it deleted the post from the topic, but not the attachment.
  8. That would be good, how about anything older than a year?
  9. I'm out of room for attachments, how do I delete old ones?
  10. I've got a Martin I picked up used a few years back, and I don't even know what model it is.
  11. I just don't get the point of paying a fortune for a new guitar that looks old. When I lay out the cash for a new guitar, I want it to look pristine!
  12. I had a good friend I joined up with who became an EM on the Blandy out of Norfolk.
  13. 21 Years riding submarines. I had been attached to 5 boats by the time I retired.
  14. I liked listening to Bruce up to the point I enlisted, but not so much afterwards.
  15. Since Gibson had a tendency to reuse serial numbers from time to time, a photo would help identify it.
  16. Not too bad with the tube amp, but pretty loud with the solid state.
  17. I don't seem to remember that one, but they did play my High School back in the day.
