  1. Resurrecting this thread from the dead... My uncle recently passed and left my stepdad his Gibson Eb-0. At first, we thought it was a '64, but now, given the Gibson serial number history of basically WTF, the walnut finish, slotted head stock, and the side jack (not next to the pots), I believe it may be more of a early to mid-70's model. Bridge cover. Metal humbucker cover on plastic mount. Serial #615749. Also read somewhere that the "Made in the USA" stamp below the S/N is also of 70's origin. I'm assuming it wasn't needed until Gibson started foreign production. Apologies for lack of photos, and thanks!
