  1. Hi ya - from my perspective these customs are super looking instruments and they sound really good. in addition to that all 3 of mine are nice and heavy at 10.5 lbs which I love keep you eye out philsr57 and you will find one
  2. Just keep your eyes open and the custom you are looking for may show up at the right price when you see one on Reverb I would message the seller direct and start a dialogue i always try to get a phone # and talk on phone thanks again for the updates
  3. Thanks for the post- i got very fortunate on my 3 customs as I bought them awhile ago
  4. Thanks - I’m thinking the same thing Appreciate your reply 🤙
  5. Thanks- I agree as I looked at nice resell Silverburst for more I found that I could get a new one (Custom 2021) for less I have a decent amount of killer vintage and collectible Les Pauls so on occasion I like the feeling of a new one especially since it appears to me the quality since 2019 (emerging from BK and new leadership) has been great on Gibson i bought 3 new 2019’s all really nice and 1 new 2020 also very nice - killer quality / sound / attention to detail etc thanks for your reply
  6. That’s fine / I’m not worried about the price I was just asking for people’s personal opinions on whether they would rather own s brand new custom Silverburst for about $4500 or a resell for more money
  7. It’s not a Standard- Gibson makes a Custom https://davesguitar.com/products/gibson-custom-shop/les-paul-custom-silverburst-milwaukee-608-790-9816/
  8. This forum makes it ridiculously hard to submit a photo- super lame in my opinion
  9. It’s not a Standard- Gibson makes a Custom
  10. With all the new interest in Silverburst (the Adam Jones effect) the prices on used Silverburst are strong I found I can get a brand new 2021 Silverburst Custom for like $4500 - any thoughts as to a brand new one at that price point ($4500) or a nice resale at significantly higher? thanks
  11. Yes - but I agree in that other picture the headstock and puck guard look black due to the reflection
  12. Looking good brother - congratulations- One poster commented that my original pictures looked like black headstock and pick guard cuz they were reflecting the black carpet on the ceiling - here’s a better look
  13. I’m no expert and yes they are all over the board - it appears that they can be purchased between 6-9k i see those others in reverb for 12-15 but they have been listed for years killer guitars in my opinion
  14. Thanks for the reply- I did end up buying actually 3 of them as they are somewhat collectible in my opinion due to limited # of production I bought the Custom model - I personally think they play and sound really nice they are nice and heavy as well I have no idea how they compare to the sound of a 1957 but that’s not why I bought them anyway I m stoked in the guitars please let us know what you think when you get yours
  15. I was hoping to learn more about the 2007 50th Anniversary all gold Gold Tops that were made. What I currently know is - there was only 157 made as Customs with a "C" starting the serial # there was only 157 made as Standards with a "S" starting the serial # It appears the Customs had Ebony fretboards and the Standards had Rosewood Aside from that I cant really find a demo videos or specs on pickups / How close they are to original specs Do they sound good etc Thanks
