Sorry if this has been beat to death but didn't find anything with a search any links would be great. I am curious about Strings for this '64 Gibson C1-D that is coming and currently has "Saverez normal tension “New Cristal” classical strings" . Not knowing much about Nylon String Guitars I am wanting to get some extras and explore different choices but with some knowledge. Thanks in advance, Steve

Found a used Hiscox case on Reverb. Made an offer and the seller accepted it so one is on the way. I would like to have a decent case when the C1-D arrives for the added protection. Thanks again!

I have a 1964 Gibson C1-D Laredo coming soon. The guitar is in wonderful condition but only has the original case and that is why I could use some advice. I would appreciate some advice on a hard case that should fit this guitar correctly. I travel in our Motorhome and Vintage Airstream so I would like to protect it as good as possible. Looking to get a Gibson Classical Guitar, can't tell you exactly why but then why do we do anything? Question to those in the know, did Gibson always have their name on the Headstock on a 1964 C1-D? I'm looking at one without the name & stated as not being refinished. Thanks in advance!
