  1. Yes, that makes sense now. Thank you!
  2. Indeed but what worries me is when it comes half wrap thicker strings. The angle from the nut will be a challenge ....i think, like matt also noticed. With thiner strings i can see it will work. I have engraved the neck by 0.5mm aproxx. and glued walnut veneer. then i sanded it. I dont quite understand this phrase......i can not make really an image of what you describe. How can the string hole be higher than the nut?
  3. If i can help with better photos (maybe from another) angle, please let me know. Yes, i have altered the finish of the headstock but only on the back and only for a milimeter, not the front side with logos and inlays. This means that i have not changed the head shape.
  4. Hey everyone, Just bought new gotoh tuners and there is a ''slight'' difference in the post height....... Do you think i will be facing any problems due to this ''slight'' difference? Pics. Black tuner is the old one with the higher post, gold tuner is the new one with lower post.
  5. Didn't expect it to be that hard...... i mean, i have already done a lot of wood work on the guitar and i sure wouldn't mind doing that. For some reason, it is the only part on the neck i would like to avoid altering in any way, string tension might be one of them.
  6. So, what's the big deal - you might ask. Well, the thing is that i am looking for #10 x 1 3/4" size neck screws - over sized (5mm x 45mm exactly, not 4.5mm x 45mm not 4.8 x 45 but 5mm x 45mm). It seems that it is hard to find them. Does anyone know where i might be able to purchase these? My guitar was ( i am saying was because right know it is undergoing severe body and neck changes) an epiphone les paul 2 ...i think Yes exactly this one. Oh and Hi everyone!!
