That’s helpful, I will have to look in the control cavity. The new pickups for sale are 5 pin. I don’t know much about the quick connect system. I honestly didn’t know until I opened up my guitar that it had the circuit board.

I did a forum search and didn’t find an answer. I have a 2013 Les Paul Studio Tribute. It has the 490r 498t pickups and the quick connect board. I found someone selling a set of BurstBucker 1 and 2 with the quick connect and I’m wondering if they are compatible? I need to be sure before I buy them and I can’t find information anywhere. I know the 2019 studio special limited that the BurstBuckers came out of has coil splitting but my guitar doesn’t.

Hey there, I just got my hands on a used 2013 Studio 50’s Tribute and I am wondering if anyone on the forums has any experience with this model. I can’t find a lot about it on the internet and from what I’ve seen they are somewhat rare on the resale market. It’s a little beat up but it plays and sounds great (after a set up). Any opinions on upgrading the bridge and tail to ABR-1 and vintage-style aluminum? This guitar has a cool vintage vibe and I’m wondering if anyone more knowledgeable can tell me if they’ve done these upgrades, what parts used and if they are worth it. Thanks for reading!
