Hello, For percussive playing (on body principally), would you play a hummingbird, j-45, other ? Thanks for your advices.

Hello, I have a Gibson Hummingbird pro EC with a built-in preamp, a fishman Prefix plus. I would like to make loops of a few percussions on the body, but the amplified sound restored is not good. What will you advise me? pickup change? guitar change ? Thank you for your opinions ;-)
