  1. Thanks, Matt. My confusion was because of the statements that sometimes the year was represented with two numbers and sometimes by one. Also the same being said about the month. After reading things, on several sites, I was leaning heavily towards what you said, S- Sammick, Korea 93, 1993 2, February 3862, the production number. Again, thanks for responding and sharing your knowledge.
  2. Hi everyone. New member, just joined. I've got an Epiphone Les Paul cherry burst that I bought many years ago. What does the serial number tell me? It's S9323862. I've tried decoding the number, but haven't been able to figure it out. Maybe I'm not doing it correctly. Thanks for any info.
