  1. Hello Leo, I live in Indonesia with the same issue as yours. we have 80-90 % of humidity throughout the year. your best way to keep it is to store it in a room with the air conditioner. you can also keeping tracks of your Rh % with hygrometer and de-humidifier. if that option is too much pricey for you, i suggest you can just keep your guitar in the case every time you are not playing. in addition, put some silica gel inside the case too, and track the Rh level of your case. i have tried the humidipak system from daddario, or taylor dehumidification system with their charcoal bamboo method. both of these thing not really working well for me. it does lower the Rh level. but not much into certain point you need (45-55%). my best choice is using silica gel, and keep your guitar in the case every time you r not playing. dont forget to alwys keep track of your humidity level. Goodluck and congrats on your new gibby, cheers

  5. My first guitar is yamaha cs-40. It was a gift from my cousins. The sound is not great, the looks is just pretty basic classical guitar, many scratch and dents here n there, but hey! Thats the one that started it all and yes i love every inch of it .
  6. Hi Leonard, I put some bamboo charcoal there, it is good for dehumidifying guitar in high humid area. Mine probbly range above 59 % throughout the year so i need that. have u ever done that before? Im afraid i can ruin my guitar’s finish. I always put my guitar in the case, when im not playing thx for ur reply , always good to have more knowledge n opinion everyday

  8. Hello everyone Recently I discover some marks on my J-45 I dont know if it was a mold or mildew. I live in Indonesia with high humidity across the year. I attach some of the picture, I dont know if you guys can see them, it is a white-ish marks on the finish and only presence in good-lighting environment. I already clean it with some gibson pump polish but its not working. if anyone knows how to remove that please let me know thankyou
