I am thinking about acquiring a 2015 archtop L.P. because I've heard that Gibson made all their necks with 1 3/4 inch wide nut widths in 2015, and I'd enjoy the smidgen of extra finger space, even if that means having the factory nut pulled off and replaced with a new bone nut, with the slots for the strings cut for that purpose. I'd appreciate your thoughts!

  3. Hello All, I've had my L.P. Special since 1977 as my father bought it for me when he was promoted by his employer back then. I hope to learn here, about all of the possibilities that have come to be available to buyers in recent years.
