As I couldn't get a direct reply from Gibson (it's fine), then perhaps some of you could help me out.
Namely this guitar - I think I have browsed through as many catalogues and google articles I can find and I am unable to locate, that in 1997 a custom silverburst was made.
Usually most of the custom silverbursts have the burst-ish part as a drop shape, that ends on the neck pickup, rest like studios and some Epiphones have the silver part ending up in the neck, covering most of the body. So would you be able to identify, is it a custom model or is it even a silverburst?
