  1. OK, I went ahead and did this and it was worthless. No less noise and, in fact, the entire tonal characteristics of the P94 changed. Became far less aggressive. Also, reading comprehension fail as I obviously didn't read the post directly above mine. I'm going to shield the dummy cavity and hope for similar results.
  2. Hello all, I am having a similar problem with my Lee Malia RD. It is a great guitar in every other way except for the hum. I appear to having the grounding issue style hum that goes away when I touch the strings or bridge. I've put up with it until now, but I'd really like to get rid of it. My question -- has anyone just disconnected the dummy coil? What was your experience like? I have other P90-equipped guitars and I can deal with that.
