I bought one of these because I love the rd shape, and own an original 78 gib rd. So i hated this thing. Hated pickups, keys, electronics. I gutted the thing. New electronics, 57+ bridge and 490r neck, obviously unwired the ridiculous dummy coil thing, installed keys from a traditional i had which received new keys. So had them already. Now it is as good as it can be. Actually sounds pretty good now.
