So, i bought what seem to be and were advertized as gibson/schaller "Crank" machine head buttons. When they got here, i discovered that the diameter of hole where the worm gear/acme thread shaft goes into the button was too small. So i tried to put one on every different brand of machine head i own including trying to swap one on another gibson crank machine head, and it fit on none of them. I'm wondering if these might have had a flaw in production. Or if gibson produced a machine head with a smaller diameter worm gear shaft that these may have been made for specifically.
