  1. Yeah I bought it new and pic attached Thanks that makes sense and yeah my saddles are mostly maxed out, but what’s weird is that the low strings run sharp, high strings run flat. It’s a bit sharp towards the nut for all of the strings so I thought the nut may be too high, but visually half of the strings’ gauge sits in the nut, which is what I’ve heard is ideal The values are deviation in cents, I measured them by pressing as I normally would on those frets with direct input to guitar rig. I’ve also heard checking the guitar on its back affects intonation so I hold it the same as well. Thanks for the replies I do appreciate it
  2. I've had this guitar for a couple months now, and although I love it, I feel I haven't been able to truly appreciate it since the intonation has been really bad straight out of the box. This is my first LP and I noticed the low end bridge post and tuneomatic is raised higher at the low end vs the high end. I've heard the tuneomatic is sensitive, to only give quarter/half turns, but mine doesn't seem to do much or change the value given multiple whole turns. All of my strings except g and b are maxed out on the tuner. I'm going to take it in to get it set up, but what could be going on here? Pickup height is good, but my guess would be the nut is too high and the bridge/tuner height may need to be adjusted. I'm using native instruments guitar rig to tune this up: Low strings run sharp, high strings run flat, nut is sharp (measured in cents) low e is +26-28 at nut, +4-6 at 5th and 12th a is +7-8 at nut, +1-3 at 5th and 12th d is +5-6 at nut, tuned at 5th,- +6-8 at 12th g is +18-20 at nut, +8-9 at 12th and 5th (only string that tune o matic can intonate, nut remains sharp) b +5-7 at nut, -7-8 at 5th, -28-30 at 12th high e is +2-3 at nut, -24 at 5th, -84 at 12th
