  1. Sent the guitar back and got a full refund. Also seller paid for return shipping as Reverb seen this as an unlisted/undescribed defect and possibly damage. Looking around for a brand new guitar on Reverb or Guitar Center now.
  2. Thanks Everyone for the input. Definitely returning it. Tom
  3. Kidblast, I paid $1300, plus tax, and shipping; for the guitar and case. Its in mint shape other than the water mark on the inside and apparent mold, which seller obviously didn't disclose or acknowledge. I've found brand new ones for $1749. I'm with you on it always being on my mind and a buzz kill.
  4. Thanks Leonard, I am thinking returning, and just spend a few hundred more for brand new. Black mold can be hard to remedy as I understand, not a headache or stress I want on my mind all the time.
  5. Hello All, I recently purchased a beautiful used Gibson J15 on Reverb in what I was told was mint condition. Upon receiving, I inspected, I noticed a few water mark inside, figured it was from not properly using the humidifier, then I noticed a lot of black dots in the guitar, its on the cross braces by the water mark, and further in the back around scalloped braces and other cross braces. You can see the water mark in picture as well as black dots on cross brace and in the fuzzy picture you can see on the scalloped braces in very back. So my question is... will this spread? Should I return the guitar? Thoughts please? I definitely didn't pay good money to have issues, I just wanna play the guitar. Thanks, Tom
