  1. Hi Thanks for replies. Too clarify sequence: 1-First luthier did set up after I had the guitar for a month. 2-Pickups went in June of last year and were replaced at the shop I bought it from. Buzz started after this. 3-Second luthier was asked to look at the guitar to see if he could rectify the fret buzz but no luck. (Do not think that he has done anything wrong) Buzz is heard unplugged and when I get the guitar back was going to check it plugged into amp. I'll also ask the luthier what height he had the strings when there was no buzz. Plan was to take it back to the original luthier for him to have a look. I'm just looking for suggestions to give him to point him in the right direction. (Will suggest the truss rod) Kenttaff
  2. Hi All After some advice. I bought a Explorer B-2 December 2019. Had it set up by a local luthier in Feb and all well. Then I had to have the pick ups replaced as they were not wax potted. Since then guitar has suffered from fret buzz. I've again taken it to a local luthier (different one) who has carried out the following: - Adjusted next bow to correct relief Adjusted pick up height Checked for loose screws Reversed E saddle Adjusted bridge height Adjusted tail piece height Despite all this, buzz is still persisting and is in all positions , Only thing luthier found was to set the action far to high for play ability. So, has anybody else had similar issues and how did you resolve, I'm not enjoying playing the guitar at the moment and I'm using my Epiphone Les Paul more, Sorry the long post. Thanks
