  2. Thanks Nick it’s not mine so I haven’t moved the bridge but would do otherwise if course. Only part of the internal label is visible the rest seems to have faded to nothing. This was in an attic and has been there unknown for some time  apparently. I will reduce the images sizes and attach tomorrow, those I have are too big.

    Thank you

    Paul

You can email them to me at accnick@yahoo.com. Any number of files of basically any size is ok.

  3. Hi Any ideas on this one?

Part of the Gibson label visible via f hole maybe was a pale orange But now faded to a  beige Only lowed section visible

Not seen one with the heart / spade card shape body centre and stripe. Sort if 1930’s look.

    Thanks

Not based on this photo alone.  You'd have to see what the label says. That is more likely to be faded white than faded orange.

That trap tailpiece is similar to the one used on lower-priced archtops, which often have no label at all.

The body proportions aren't right for any Gibson I know, but that may well just be photo distortion.

The spade-shaped painted section is not an original detail in any case.

A photo of the whole guitar from straight-on rather that an angle would be useful.

The visible details are of a lower-end guitar, like an L-48 or similar model.

The bridge is set way to close to the neck right now, so the guitar would not intonate properly above about the third fret, at best.
