Hello everyone, I recently purchased a very rough but amazing 68 Standard SG. Or what I think is a 68. I know it is difficult to find the year of manufacture with a pre-75 serial number but I am hoping to narrow down what year my guitar is. I bought is advertised as a 1970 but it has no made in USA stamp. It has had a neck reset and someone put a fender neck plate on (who knows man) but at the price i could not pass it up. It’s serial number is 901067.
If anyone has any tips or characteristics of what year my SG is I’d really appreciate it!
