  5. Thanks for the reply. The three pickups look original and the wiring seems to have been untouched. How would I be able to specifically identify the pickups? Don't remember seeing details on the back of them just the black substance. Sapster
  6. Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I recently bought a Les Paul Artisan. Everything looks to be in order and untouched and original. All the electronics appear to be original and factory spec. I put a multi-meter on the pickups (First time using one) to check output. I was using Ohm setting at 20k. The Rhythm and Treble positions on the three way switch read 15.6 and the middle position read 5.2. These are original tar-back pickups. Does this sound correct? Any help or references would be great. Thanks, Lee.
