Personalmente 59' tutta la vita, se resto in casa Gibson 57 classic.

Infatti ho messo il 57 classic e devo dire che è proprio quello che cercavo. In posizione centrale, è ancora più bello. Non credevo si sposasse così bene con un ceramico al ponte.

Salve Amici,
Sto prendendo una custom, esattamente una les paul goldtop standard cs7 e non riesco a decifrare il seriale in modo preciso.
Siccome, al momento non posso raggiungere il negoziante di fiducia che me l'ha procurata, ho solo delle foto in cui si intravede il seriale.
Mi sono informato qua e lá, e da quello che ho dedotto dovrebbe essere 2015, ma vorrei essere sicuro dell'anno cosicché posso informarmi precisamente sulle specifiche dello strumento in questione, o magari se qualcuno ne possiede già una.
Il seriale che si intravede dalle foto è:
CS7 50041
Chiedo gentilmente delucidazioni a riguardo.

If I was looking at changing pickups, the first place that I would look at is Cream T pickups. Everyone seems to give them great reviews. Thomas Nilsen who builds them doesn't just try and copy how they were made in the 1950's, he measures all the readings from specific pickups and recreates how that pickup sounds.

I briefly introduce myself and I present to you the strong doubt that has gripped me for a while.
Elmut, from Italy, 44 years old.
My guitars at the moment are:
Gibson Les Paul Classic Premium Plus 1995
Jackson Soloist sl3 Japan modified with Di Marzio d2n
Various Yamaha acoustics.
We come to the dilemma. The lady in question (Les Paul), after years of research and testing, was chosen from various standards, traditional from various eras. She is a beautiful guitar with a fantastic Top, one-piece body, Abr-1 bridge and all the Gibson specifications of those years, including ceramics.
I literally love it (I'm not talking about the neck, it should be the classic 60 slim, but compared to the traditional 2013 and standard, it's probably a medium C); I like the 500t a lot and I wouldn't change it, but the note that is most out of place in my opinion is the 496r in the neck. Too anonymous, indefinable based on the sound in my head (so to speak I know the 490 as a reference point), and far from what I would like, 57 classic style.
I would like to replace it, perhaps always sticking to something from mom Gibson (I don't exclude other manufacturers), but I'm not sure about the result about the alnico / ceramic combination.

Elmut, campano, 44 anni.

Veniamo al dilemma. La signora in questione (Les Paul), dopo anni di ricerche e di prove, è stata scelta tra varie standard, traditional di varie epoche. È un bel chitarrone con un fantastico Top, body pezzo unico, ponte Abr-1 e tutte le specifiche Gibson di quegli anni, ceramici compresi.
La amo letteralmente (non sto a parlare del manico, dovrebbe essere il classico 60 slim, ma confrontato con delle traditional 2013 e standard, è verosimilmente un medium C); il 500t mi piace molto e non lo cambierei, ma la nota che più stona a mio avviso è il 496r al manico. Troppo anonimo, indefinibile in base al suono che ho in testa (per intenderci conosco il 490 come punto di riferimento), e lontano da quello che vorrei, stile 57 classic.
Vorrei sostituirlo, magari restando sempre su qualcosa di mamma Gibson (non escludo altri produttori), ma non sono sicuro sul risultato circa l'accoppiata alnico/ceramico.
Vi ringrazio moltissimo per qualsiasi vostra risposta utile, consigli e/o suggerimenti.
