Thanks for the reply. Yes, I still have the original Seymour Duncan pickups but the sound bored me a bit, in particular the neck pickup and the one in the middle I never really liked it, perhaps because of the maple ... I was looking for something different

hi, I would like to replace the pickups installed in my 1992 GR4 with an Evans HSS Hot Lead and Hot Rhythm set that I found used online and I am thinking of buying: before I disassemble everything and buy the set I would like to understand if these pickups will sound good on the guitar which should have a maple body and graphite neck ... has anyone had experience and can help me figure out if it will improve my current sound?
