  1. Thanks but.. AHHH more confusion... ! Mine has a serial stamping of 48033 (indicating a 62 from what I saw on line listing serial numbers and dates, BUT has sharp edges on the diamond...
  2. I bought a Vintage Gibson B 45 12 (I think it's a B 45-12) with a serial number that indicates it was built in 1962. The pickguard was lifting off because of age and under it there was no indication that it had lifted before. There were no foot prints of an earlier pickguard.The issue is that the pickguard is shaped like the country Gibson acoustic "Songbird" type design and not the standard B 45 pickguard.I also have an article from a magazine that includes a letter from Gibson for a custom B 45 and that one has the same Country Songbird style pickguard.Anybody have any similar experiences?
