  1. You’d be good with a Martin d-28, 41,42,45. They are as versatile as the aj and hummingbird. Gibsons are a pain in the behind to upkeep, the bracing and wood collapses and cracks very easy and cutting a thru and thru saddle is a monumental pain in the *** whether you are doing the work or searching for someone to do it. Don’t count on Gibson to help you either, that road is a dead end. Finding someone that works on acoustics is few and far between and ask anyone who’s done any JUST acoustic tech work and they will tell you don’t go near a Gibson with a ten foot pole, unless you’ve got an endless amount of money on it. Martins are built to be maintained simply by their owner without any surprises
