Bill, thanks for the reply but I've found plenty of suitable leather replacement straps, I just need to determine the correct size for a late 50's GA-5. If anyone can give me the approximate length or center to center pin on the strap retainers measurement it would be most appreciated!

I'm trying to source a replacement leather handle strap for a '58 GA-5 Skylark. Three questions: 1. What is the correct length for the leather strap? 2. Are there any suitable straps available? 3. Anybody know a source for the brass rivets that hold the strap hardware in place? I managed to get some brass plated strap mounts. Thanks!
