  1. They seem to be sold out everywhere, supply chain issues is what someone I know was told when trying to by one. They seem to be almost double the price used lately.
  2. Thanks sparquelito. The Burst Buckers are a lower output pickup than I'm used to, but they have a decent well rounded sound, that seemed a little muddy for my tastes. I'm playing through a smaller Mesa Boogie F30, and going directly in the BBs were just not doing it for me in keeping the low end tight, and getting some good high end. I ended up swapping out the bridge pickup, which is what I use the most, with a Seymour Nazgul, which is perfect in that guitar. Reminds me of Gibson Explorers with 500Ts that I have played in the past. I've also managed to acquire an Epiphone Korina Explorer, looks like a 98 from a pawn shop via Reverb. It arrives tomorrow, and though it has been modified and has some dents I can hardly wait. Be well, happy playing.
  3. Hello all. I have a modest collection of guitars, that includes a Gibson SG 1 (the single humbucker job that was available at Guitar Center in the '90s) and just arrived yesterday, my first Epiphone, a Brendon Small Ghosthorse. I need to reach out to the seller (bought it through Reverb), but I wanted to check the forums and see if anyone has had any issues with the ground line going to the claw of the Floyd Rose. The soldered connection had come off completely, and my attempts to reattach it have failed. I cannot get the solder to stick, and this is far from my first soldering job. In the end, I soldered a loop and have it under one of the springs, so it isn't going anywhere. Curious if others have similar experience.
