Thank you for the information! I have been wanting to sell this instrument, but didn't want to misrepresent it.

I don't know if this is an authentic Gibson or what it really is? I don't know if this is a real Gibson or a homemade instrument with a Gibson logo.. It plays and sounds great, but I can't seem to find anything else quite like it online. the shape seems pretty close to some 40s versions, but the construction and logo don't seem quite right. I bought it some 20-25 years ago, and didn't know anything about it then - or now for that matter. Does anyone recognize this? I plan to get rid of it soon but need to know what it really is!
