  1. That’s actually copper, not mahogany.
  2. I had a close look at the Gibson logo and it appears to be inlaid abalone.
  3. @Big BillTotally!
  4. If it’s an employee build, they might have something. I’m guessing, if it’s real, that it is based off an L6 design but ok to only isn’t considered an L6. It’s hard to tell if it’s new or old. The pickups are new. Fralin didn’t start making pickups til 89. But the body looks older that 2010, or whenever they made the V2. whatecer it is, it plays sooooo well. It’s my favorite guitar. It reminds me a lot of my 1989 LP Jr double cutaway that I use to own. But with 24 frets.
  5. Yeah, there’s definitely some stuff that’s been changed. The pick guard is a replacement. I’m a bit thrown for a loop because the guitar is really well built. It seems like a weird guitar to build a really nice fake from. It would probably be worth more as a custom piece than the real thing. I emailed Gibson to see if they had any thoughts.
  6. @Eracer_Teamits got two screws. Are you saying that the headstock differs from the normal L6-s?
  7. Yeah. I emailed Gibson. I’m sure there aren’t too many 1 of 1 guitars. Maybe an employee guitar.
  8. Hello. I purchased an L6 (or similar) that has a SN that is “1 of 1”. Has anyone see a Gibson USA that has 1 of 1 instead of a serial number? I’m really curious about what I bought. The guitar is really well built and plays extremely well. It has Fralin P-90s and some other unique features for an L6. images: https://www.instagram.com/p/CS499fzBnBH/?utm_medium=copy_link
