  1. Ah thanks for your reply. You've confirmed my worst fears. But yes i shall check the pots in future. Its such a shame because some vintage Gibsons will be getting under valued in the future as the buyer (and Seller) may not know what decade the guitar was originally from. Bummer Thank you anyhow
  2. Hi all, I was reading up on the 1995 ES custom Re-issue models = ES-295, 1963 ES-335,ES-330,ES-345. These have A & B prefixes before the serial number. According to the gibson.com the second number of the serial, is the year (A or B-MYRRR). So if the second number is 6 that makes the guitar production date 1996 right? but does that also apply for 2006? Confused, please help as how would you know what decade its from? Thank you all
