These Pickups were in my 1984 Les Paul Studio that I purchased it in 1988 as used from a store. I believe it was 100% stock. Both the bridge and neck measure about 7.21K. From my serial number it puts this guitars birthday at just after the move to Nashville. When I got this guitar the guy at the store recommended I upgrade the pickups so I bought a couple of different SD pickups and returned them both and reinstalled the originals as I thought they sounded much better that either of the SD's. Both have "PAT NO. 2,737,842'' and also some other numbers in maybe black ink that are not the easy to see anymore and are stamped over the top of the PAT. Could it be that these are Shaws? If not what are they?
