I just got my hands on a beautiful Gothic IV T-Bird and the previous owner has de-gothic’ed it. Not massively but pickguard and original knobs were replaced and silver screws introduced. Now screws aren’t so bad to replace and there are certain knobs that look the same (tho I’d wish for the originals), but the worst is the pickguard.
They’re nowhere to be found on the web and I doubt Gibson/Epiphone will have spare parts after years of it not being produced anymore.
Only thing I can find is ppl replacing/modding their PG to NOT be gothic anymore. Anyone of those who disliked it has one lying around by chance?
