Sidnister

So, I have an Epiphone Les Paul Special II. The serial number is SU05060792 I understand the date June 2005, and production number 0792, but I can't find SU on any list anywhere. Could it be possible that it was for instance put together at Samik and maybe electronics and hardware installed at Unsung? or something like that? Or is that just crazy?
