  1. Hi All, So, I have a 2008 Epiphone Sheraton 11 which I would like to try with a P90 in the neck. I unscrewed the neck pickup and saw there was one wire so I assumed it would just be a case of unsoldering that from whatever it attached to and soldering the P90 wire in its place. I bought a ToneRider Rebel 90 and when I started undoing the switch and pulling the wiring out I found the sheraton used the Epiphone quick connect system (2 pins). Unable to find a local supplier of these I decided to just snip the existing lead about 5cm from the connector and I would just solder the new P90 lead to it thus retaining the quick connect facility. It tuns out the existing HB quick connect wire actually has another plastic shielded wire inside the original as well as several fine unshielded wires. The P90 only seems to have one wire when I pull the shield back. From my research it seems of the 2 wires from the original HB quick connect one is a hot wire and the other the earth. I am not sure which is which and which one I can solder the P90 wire to and what I would do with the other (earth). Do I have to solder that to some thing else? I saw a diagram somewhere (can't find it again unfortunately ) that suggested the inner wire of the epi quick connect lead would be soldered to the P90 wire and the outer wires of the epi QC are the earth and could be soldered to the outer sheath of the P90 lead ... Does that sound correct? Thanks for any help semiguy
