Just got this VU meter and attached to my '57 ES-225 front pickup. What is the reading of this pickup based on the setting on the meter? Do I need to unsolder it to get an accurate reading?

I did some cleaning of the pots in my ES-225TDN and took this photo of one of the resistors connected to the rear pickup pot. I couldn't figure out the value so wanted to ask this forum I'll be taking some resistance readings when I get a new digital multimeter this Wed as I'm curious why these P-90s sounds so good. In the meantime, I appreciate any info on the guts of these semi hollow body Kalamazoo Gibson. thanks 1957 ES-225
