  1. Yes i have great luthier near me who also has production line of custom shop guitars. Next week i am taking guitar for inspection. But, i would like to tell him what to inspect. 1. Check for pickups wax potted 2. Check for capacitors working 3. Check PCB board I dont know what else he can check 🙂
  2. I have tried LP Studio with 498T & 498R, same cable, same amp and there is no buzz at all on clean channel. I don`t know what to think. I wrote to Gibson support and they told me that Burstbucker Pro supposed to be dead quiet.
  3. Dear friends,i just bought Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top 2012 with Burstbucker Pro pickups. Guitar is gorgeous but i have some pickup issues. When i plugged into my Marshall JCM 2000 DSL50, pickups are very loud buzzing on clean channel. Then i plugged in my American Standard with Fender Hot Noiseless and it is dead quiet. When i switched pull push volume on Gibsons pot on (single coil mode), buzzing increased rapidly, which is normal. I have doubts that pickups, maybe are not wax potted as they should be. They are working fine, sound is excellent but that buzzing/hum is killing me. Also, i checked grounding with multimeter and it is connected properly. What is a reason for that loud buzzing of Burstbucker Pros? Is it non wax potting or just bad pickup production? It is not a problem to buy a new pros, but what if those new buzz also?Thank you very much for you answers and help 🙂
