  1. Hello Group. I have a 2011 Gibson Melody Maker, the one with a single pickup. Is there is a way to tell what size peg holes my guitar has without measuring the hole size? Asking b/c I do not have any tools to take measurements. I'm trying to order new hipshot tuners and don't know if I should order vintage with the smaller peg hole or the modern ones with larger peg holes. Thank you. -AJ
  2. Hello Group, this is AJ and I have a couple of questions. Here's the story... I emailed Weber and told them I wanted to use my GA-5 amp rated at 4 ohms with my 112 cab rated at 16 ohms. I asked if the Micro Mass 15 would work and they said yes so I bought it on Friday for $192 with the cables to hookup to my amp. However on Saturday I noticed they sell a Z Matcher 100 watt impedance (out of stock) which sounds like it would fit my needs better. Weber is closed over the weekend so I am reaching out to the community to see if you can give me alternative suggestions and answer the questions below. For those not familiar... The Z Matcher lets you match the output impedance of your amp to impedances of speakers and cabinets that are not the same as your amp output impedance. Matches 2, 2.6, 4, 5.3, 8, and 16 ohms amplifiers to 2, 2.6, 4, 5.3, 8, and 16 ohms speaker systems. Does anybody know if the Micro Mass 15 will work as an impedance matcher as well as an attenuator? If not, does anybody you know if there is anything similar to a Z Matcher? If none, here are my alternatives that I am not fond of... I could buy a 4 ohm speaker and swap out it with my 16 ohm speaker but I'd prefer to use that with my Marshall Origin 5 rated 16 ohms. Another alternative is to have two separate cabs, one with 16 ohms for the Marshall and one with 4 ohms for the Gibson but that would cost more than the Micro Mass 15 or Z Matcher. Thank you in advance for your input.
