  1. REVERB is really TOP and I finally get my money back 🙂 ... happy ending .
  2. I am at the very beginning of the procedure but it is really complicated! Already the seller is scandalized that I opened the cover because, according to him, this pickup had NEVER been opened (!!!) and that therefore already it loses all value! On the other hand concerning the absence of the "T" and the holes with the usual marks, he says that they must have "melted" when I heated the cover to disassemble it!!! I told him that -fortunately- that I opened the cover ... which had already been seen the state of the solders (see the photos!) and that thus I was able to realize that it was a counterfeit!!! on this "tinkered" pickup , there is therefore: . the "T" and two circular holes surrounded by two symbols which are missing, and the bobbins are in a strange plastic (cheap) or seem to have been filed??? . the gray plastic cable is much too thin compared to that used by Gibson temporarily during the years 1970-1971(?): I had such a set from 1970 ... and an ES335 from 1971 SO I know these pickups well! . the bobbins mounting screws, at that time, weren't those tiny Philips screws. SO, it's still a LOT not to see that it's not an original T-Top from the 70s!!! but for now, I'm afraid it looks complicated for REVERB (?) and I don't know if they want to go further and take action against this seller! There is a shock on the cover: I report it to him. He replies that it can be seen in the photo, I reply that there are a lot of reflections and therefore... Well, he replies that I just had to ask him!!! Why question it when you don't perceive anything?! And the whole debate is like that with him ... So we'll see...
  3. .. yes this is my feeling too and yes I try to return it but the seller stays in his position saying that it's an original and true one ... and I don't know what REVERB will do ? 😞 Thanks for your usefull comments 😉
  4. Hi guys😉 I bought this pickup as a "1971 T-Top" and I receive this: What do you think ? for me ... it's a fake: the "T" , the orifices with particular marks are missing, the plastic of the bobins seems cheap The base plate with the label seems, at first , correct. The seller even said that the solder are original and that this pickup was never been open !!! I'm wrong or not. Or the guy had an out of order T-Top, use this "correct" (?) base plate with the label and put some cheap bobins on it , to build this pickups ??? Thanks a lot for your help : it really important for me to have comments from specialists !
