  1. Hi all, A friend of mine asked me to rewire his SG (equiped with a pcb board and 4 conductor wires coming from the pickups) to have 50's wiring (point to point). Now I assumed the pickups would have been standard 2 conductor, but they are 4 conductor. Also the neck wires are plugged in a different order then the bridge wires (neck = Wh-Gr-Red-Bl-Bare bridge = Red-Bl-Wh-Gr-Bare). What wires are what? Any of you know of a specific diagram for this? I did found some diagrams where green and white must be soldered together, Black and silver are ground and red is hot on both pickups. But then I still don't understand the different order on this pcb.
  2. Hi Hype, Fun fact, the casino actually has a thick piece of wood over the middle of the whole top. That's what holds the studs. I have no concerns about the top breaking. More about the string angle and tuning stability.
  3. Hi all, Recently I bought a Casino Worn. It comes with a set of "Pro P90's". Yesterday at band rehearsal I noticed they are quite a lot more powerful then my Guild Starfire with mini-humbuckers. So much that I almost couldn't get a clean tone out of my 40W Swart tube amp. Anybody knows what output these pickups have? I wonder how much difference it will make to let someone rewind them or replace them with lets say Creamery's, or Fralin's.
  4. There she is. Quite an amazing player acoustically. Tonight I’ll give it a go in band practice. still curious about your opinions concerning the wright tremolo.
  5. Hi All, This is my first question on this forum. I hope to find some first hand experiences between these two tremolo systems. Today I will receive an Epiphone Casino Worn Olive Drab from my favorite guitar store. Because I frequently use a tremolo on my current main guitar (a Guild Starfire III with Bigsby), I want to place one on the Casino too. For some reason I find the Bigsby units to look to massive on the casino, so I was looking to put a Maestro long vibrola on (with the cover removed to make it look kind of like a normal tailpiece). My question is, how do these tremolo's compare to eachother (feel, stability, fit, etc.). Does anyone have experience with putting an aftermarket Maestro on a Casino? Thanks in advance, Smeigel
  6. Hi All, New to this forum. My Epiphone Casino Worn will arrive this afternoon and I can't wait to give it a run this week. I will have some upgrade questions in the near future for this one so you'll see some post on this topic soon. Cheers! Smeigel
